<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member used for a rail type earthquake-resistant structure with simple constitution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cover member 50 is a rigid, thin and long member for covering a rail 30A provided on a floor so as to fix the on-floor position of a rack 41 for electronic equipment mounting. Consequently, the rail 30A provided on the floor is covered with the cover member 50, so a worker and an operator are prevented from stumbling over the rail 30A or a bolt 24 attached to the rail 30A.
