<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a variable-speed transmission that has a simple structure and is suitable for work traveling by a tractor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A variable-speed transmission includes a planetary transmission unit P for synthesizing an output of a continuously variable transmission 10 with an engine driving force, a clutch C to which the synthesized driving force is inputted from the planetary transmission unit P, and an output shaft 41 interlocked with the clutch C. The variable-speed transmission has a main speed changer B that outputs the output of the rotational speed corresponding to the variable-speed state of the continuously variable transmission 10 and the operating state of each clutch C1, C2 by subjecting the continuously variable transmission 10 to variable-speed operation and by subjecting first/second clutches C1, C2 of the clutch C to a switching operation, and an auxiliary speed changer 20 that changes the speed of driving force from the output shaft 41 of the main speed changer B so as to output the speed-changed driving force. The first/second clutches C1, C2 are subjected to switching control such that the synthesized driving force is staged into four stages of speed ranges so as to output the synthesized driving force from the auxiliary speed changer 20 while the auxiliary speed changer 20 and the continuously variable transmission 10 are subjected to variable-speed control.
