PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of abnormal vibration due to irregular rotation of a crushing roller, which is caused by a raw material inside a crusher becoming bulky and slippery when the raw material is pulverized by a vertical crusher of a type having a separator inside, wherein a ratio of the circulating raw material having small particle sizes and remaining inside the crusher becomes higher. SOLUTION: An internal cone 30 is arranged between a rotary table 2 and a classifying mechanism 14, with a screw conveyor installed in the lower end of the internal cone 30, so that coarse powder collected with the internal cone 30 is compacted with screw blades 31 and then supplied onto the rotary table 2. By once compacting with the screw blades 31 the coarse powder collected with the internal cone 30, it is possible to deaerate the powder and to reduce the bulkiness before the powder is supplied onto the rotary table 2. As a result, the raw material layer on the rotary table 2 causes no rapid volume change as in the prior art when pulverized by the crushing roller; thus, the abnormal vibration is suppressed.
