PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive composition, which can be manufactured using a carbonaceous material composed of a single plant baked body while further facilitating control of volume-specific resistivity. SOLUTION: The conductive composition is obtained through steps of preparing a plant baked body by baking a plant including a grain residue such as soybean coat, rapeseed oil cake, rice bran, or chaff at 900°C for about 3 hours, and mixing the plant baked body to a base material such as ethylene-propylene diene rubber in an amount of 100 phr or more.
