<p>The compressor has a housing (1) provided with a compression chamber (11) that comprises a constant profile along a stroke direction of a piston (21). A piston rod (22) of a rocking piston (2) is firmly connected with the piston and articulately connected with a rotatably supported crankshaft (3). An area of the rocking piston contacts side walls (13) of a stroke area (12) and is designed as a swivel segment (4). The segment is made of relatively soft material such as seal and used in recesses (23) of the rocking piston.</p>
