<p>A refill for an oil-based ball point pen, using a writing ball having a diameter of less than 0.7 mm, particularly in the range from 0.5 mm to 0.6 mm, wherein the refill is configured in such a manner that a failure caused by paper fibers taken into a ballpoint pen tip is eliminated without reducing the flow rate of ink. A refill (10) for an oil-based ballpoint pen is provided with a spring (40) which is mounted within a ballpoint pen tip (15), has a tip portion formed as a pressing rod (41) for pressing the writing ball (30) to the tip, and generates a pressing force of not less than 0.010 N but not greater than 0.090 N. The inner diameter of a ball house (24) is not less than 104.0% but not greater than 108.5% of the diameter of the writing ball (30), the diameter of a ball receiving seat (25) is not less than 80.0% but not greater than 90.0% of the diameter of the writing ball (30), and the angle of a staked section (22) is not less than 70° but not greater than 90°.</p> |
