摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of expanding a dynamic range by one shooting without performing shooting a plurality of times with different exposure amounts, and without composing an image. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a pixel output compensation processing part 61 for compensating a pixel output of a G filter on the basis of a pixel output which is determined by a correction coefficient calculating part 60 to reach a predetermined saturation level or higher among pixel outputs of R and B filters in the vicinity of the pixel with respect to the pixel output of the G filter; a bit compression converting part 51 for performing bit compression so that pixel output data which are once converted from a 12-bit output from the pixel output compensation processing part 61 to a 14-bit is converted into a 12-bit number; and a sensor I/F 34 for calculating a pixel output distribution per segment of a partitioned screen wherein the bit compression converting part 51 performs the bit compression on the pixel output data expanded per segment based on a bit compression characteristic set in accordance with the calculated pixel output distribution per segment.
