FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting-and-conveying machines, namely to automatic grippers intended primarily for cylindrical loads. Proposed device comprises housing linked with lifting-and-conveying mechanism, gripping levers with their retainers that comprise two aligned sleeves arranged one above the other and furnished with vertical ledges with skewed faces and slots arranged between said ledges, as well as rod arranged aligned inside said sleeves. Said housing represents a frame whereto gripping levers are pivoted articulated via tie rod with crossarm. Blunt lengthwise slots are made all around rod lower end to be open at top part of circular radius groove. Rod top end is secured to crossarm. Retaining mechanism is furnished with hollow cylindrical casing secured on the frame. Retaining mechanism sleeves are fixed inside said cylindrical hollow casing. Intermediate sleeve is arranged between aforesaid sleeves to translate and turn relative to aforesaid rod. Ledges are arranged to seat infixed sleeves slots without any displacement of opposite ledges. Intermediate sleeve central part have uniformly distributed holes to receive balls interacting with inner surfaces of said blunt lengthwise slots and rod circular groove made on hollow cylindrical casing inner surface. ^ EFFECT: simple, reliable and universal design. ^ 2 cl, 17 dwg |
