METHOD OF BENCH TESTING OF ROCKET CATAPULT DEVICE IN VERTICAL LAUNCHING

FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocketry and can be used in designing, producing and testing catapult devices (CD) intended for vertical launching of rockets from container (launching tube). Rocket full-scale mock-up (RFSM) in container is arranged on vertical rigging. Said rigging with RFSM is rigidly fixed on reinforced-concrete platform of test bench. Movable plate of rigging is hinged to its fixed plate and jack is used to set RFSM container vertical axis inclination of 3Ç5. At the distance of (3Ç5) L (L is RFSM length from container axis towards its inclination) a band from yieldable material is made with height making at least 2.5 L and inclination of 70Ç80. Electric pulse is sent to ignite catapult device gas generator to launch RFSM. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of catapult device development. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
