PURPOSE: A power supply device for a light emitting diode is provided to freely control an output current supplied to at least one light emitting diode by controlling the current flowing in a light emitting diode. CONSTITUTION: A voltage converter(100) converts an input voltage into a preset voltage. A light emitting diode unit(200) is connected to a light emitting diode which is turned on by the voltage supplied from the voltage converter. A current controller(300) senses the current flowing in the light emitting diode and controls the peak of the current flowing in the light emitting diode unit. The current controller includes a first switching element and a second switching element. The first or second switching element includes a bipolar junction transistor.
