PURPOSE: A driver airbag is provided to protect a driver from against shock which is delivered to the chest of a driver in the initial inflation state. CONSTITUTION: A driver airbag comprises a cushion front side(22), a cushion rear side(24), a first and a second tethers. The cushion front side is touched with an operator in the expansion step of an air cushion(20). The cushion back side is arranged in the opposite side of the cushion front side. The cushion back side has an inflator hole(24a). The first and the second tethers are separately arranged around the inflator hole. One end of the first and the second tethers is fixed to the front side of the air cushion. The other end of the first and the second tethers are fixed to the cushion back side.
