<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material having a rate of thermal expansion almost equal to that of a rotation shaft, improving a low torque performance and abrasion resistance, and preventing leakage of fluid from a sealed part of the rotation shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing material is obtained by steps of: molding fluororesin composite composed of 10-60 wt.% fluororesin, 37-60 wt.% natural graphite powder, and 2-30 wt.% carbon fiber to form a sealing material with pores; and sealing the pores with thermosetting resin by impregnating and hardening it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
