The earpiece gas exhibits a hollow body (10) provided with a mesh wire and a thin-walled pipe made from nitinol, titanium, titanium alloy and cobalt-chromium-alloy. The thin-walled pipe is expanded after insertion of the earpiece into an ear (O) of patients in such a manner to be adaptable to an anatomy of an auditory canal (G) and to lie close to a wall of the auditory canal, where the earpiece is made of a flexible material or superelastic material. An adapter (20) is fastened to the earpiece for connection of a hearing aid hose (H). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an earmold.
