PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal capable of providing the latest content as much as possible even outside a communication service area, and to provide a program for controlling the mobile communication terminal. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal includes: a time zone decision part 12 for determining a time zone outside a service area being a time zone having a high probability of being outside a communication service area on the basis of detection results as to whether to be within the communication service area; a content decision part 13 for determining contents to be automatically acquired on the basis of a content use state by the mobile communication terminal in at least one of during a time zone outside the service area, before the time zone outside the service area and after the time zone outside the service area; a content acquisition part 14 for automatically acquiring the contents determined by the content decision part 13 before the time zone outside the service area; and a content storing part 15 for storing the content acquired by the content acquisition part 14.
