PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent viruses, which exist in a detachable external storage device, from intruding into a computer by using a virus-removing program, before timing at which the viruses very probably intrude, when the detachable external storage device is connected. SOLUTION: A detachable external storage device is connected to an isolated area in a computer or to an independent device, and the quarantine/removal of viruses is made by using a virus-removing program to prevent the viruses from intruding into the computer.
