The present invention relates to peptide compounds of general formula (I) R1(AA)n-X1-Ser-Thr-Pro-X2-(AA)P-R2, intended to restore the circadian rhythm and to resynchronize the biological clock of skin cells. In addition, the present invention relates to a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one peptide of general formula (I), in a cosmetically or dermatologically acceptable medium, and to the use thereof for reducing dysfunctions caused by jetlag and/or night work and preventing or treating the cutaneous signs of ageing. Finally, the invention relates to a cosmetic treatment method intended to restore the circadian rhythm and to resynchronize the biological clock of cells.
