<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new silicone solubilizing agent suitable for removing the silicone originated from a hair care product and sticking to a wall or a floor of a bath room. Ž<P>SOLUTION: (A) The silicone solubilizing agent contains a water-soluble polyoxyethylene monoalkyl ether represented by general formula (1): R-O-(C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O)<SB>n</SB>-H (wherein, R is 5-10C linear alkyl; and n is an integer of 1-6), e.g. a polyoxyethylene mono-n-pentyl ether (n=3 to 6).
