<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue assist control as much as possible without unrequiredly increasing operational burden even if abnormality is generated on detection of a rotation angle. <P>SOLUTION: When detection signals sin θ and cos θ of a resolver 13 are at an area of [E<E<SB>L1</SB>or E>E<SB>H1</SB>] ("No" in step S22), it is determined that the abnormality is generated on the resolver 13 and a rotation angle detection circuit 15. At this time, if it is at an area of [E<SB>L2</SB>≤E≤E<SB>H2</SB>] ("Yes in step S22), the abnormality of the resolver 13 and the rotation angle detection circuit 15 is determined as slight abnormality that detection of a motor rotation angle θ is can be continued and detection error is slight. In this case, a stop flag is reset to Fs=0 and a restriction flag is set to Fr=1 (step S25). Thereby, the assist control is continued in the state that assist torque of an electric motor 7 is restricted ("Yes" in step S2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
