<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preferable composition having light weight and high strengths, efficiently producible at a low cost to satisfy the demand for good-looking and cost competitive parts and having characteristics of high strengths and light weight. <P>SOLUTION: The composition comprises a mixture consisting of about 50% resin and about 50% reinforced fiber. The reinforced fiber is a reinforced composite material substrate including carbon fiber of 12 k tow having about 1 inch length and glass fiber in 40:60 weight ratio. The carbon fiber and the glass fiber are randomly dispersed in the reinforced composite material substrate. The reinforced composite material substrate has >about 170 MPa tensile strength, >about 20 GPa tensile elastic modulus and <about 1.60 specific gravity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
