<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring probe block assembly with a high cost-performance so as to mount an electrically common probe and an electrically separate probe within a probe block. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The probe block assembly 20 is provided with: an electrically insulating housing 40; and an electrically conductive plate 50. The front side of the housing 40 is provided with: a forward face 46; and a recessed face 48. The electrically conductive plate 50 is positioned against the recessed face 48 of the housing. A plurality of probes 24 are extended from the forward face of the housing 40 and are electrically isolated from each other and from the conductive plate. The plurality of probes 26, 30 are extended from a front surface of the conductive plate 50 and come into electrical contact with each other. At least, one of the plurality of probes which are extended from the front surface 52 of the electrically conductive plate 50 is extended into the housing 40 through the recessed surface of the electrically conductive plate 50, and comes into contact with the sidewall 140 of the housing 40, and is bent elastically so as to form a vertical force between the electrically conductive plate 50 and the housing 40.
