摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the bending of an actuator having a small diameter due to an unbalanced load and to provide an actuator having a small diameter for a medical or industrial manipulator that requires highly accurate control. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator having a small diameter includes a displacement sensor having a folded structure that includes a first sensor part and a second sensor part. The first sensor part is arranged parallel to the center axis of the actuator, and the second sensor part is arranged axially symmetric with the positions of the first sensor part about the central axis on the line segments that perpendicularly intersect the central axis, and thereby the occurrence of an unbalanced load is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
