PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus for nonferrous-metal melt wherein a foreign matter in the melt is restrained from being jammed, and the melt can be efficiently drawn. SOLUTION: An axial-transfer apparatus for melt of nonferrous metal is used for drawing the melt from a melting furnace and the like. The transfer apparatus is provided with a cylindrical casing 10 which is placed vertically, and dipped in the melt at least in its lower part; a shaft 20 which is vertically placed in the state of being held in the casing 10 at least in its lower part with its upper part connected with a motor 2; a rotary vane 30 which is horizontally rotatably connected to the lower end of the shaft 20 with a gap passage G left to the casing 10 in order to draw and discharge the melt; and a discharge passage 40 connected to the upper part of the casing 10 for discharging the drawn melt. The rotary vane 30 is made trapezoid in its front view, and the gap passage G is formed gradually wider upward thus to restrain foreign matters which may be contained in the melt from being jammed in the gap passage G.
