PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chemical for stabilizing silicate-based soil quality, having good development of strength of a hardened body even when gel time of the liquid chemical is set to about 1 h to 1 h and 40 min by improving the strength of the hardened body of the liquid chemical for stabilizing silicate-based soil quality. SOLUTION: The liquid chemical for stabilizing silicate-based soil quality is formed by formulating an aqueous solution of sodium silicate having a molar ratio of SiO<SB>2</SB>/Na<SB>2</SB>O of 3.3-4.2 with a component (a): sodium hydrogen sulfate, a component (b): magnesium hydroxide and/or magnesium oxide in a ratio of 1-5 mass% based on the component (a), and a component (c): aluminum sulfate in a ratio of 8-20 mass% based on the component (a) as curing agent components so that the total ratio of the components (a), (b) and (c) becomes 27-35 mass% based on SiO<SB>2</SB>of sodium silicate, includes 20-40 kg of SiO<SB>2</SB>in terms of 400L thereof, and has gel time of 1 h or more and 1 h and 40 min or less at 20°C.
