PURPOSE: A defrosting device and a defrosting method for a heat pump are provided to improve evaporation efficiency of an evaporator by heat-exchanging the compressed air with the evaporator. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump comprises a compressor(150), a condenser(140), an expansion valve(130), an evaporator(110), and a ring blower(120). The compressor increases the temperature and pressure of a vaporized refrigerant. The condenser reduces the temperature of the refrigerant and liquefies the refrigerant. The expansion valve reduces the temperature and pressure of the liquefied refrigerant. The evaporator absorbs the refrigerant from the expansion valve and discharges the refrigerant to the entrance of the compressor. The ring blower is located the outside the evaporator and heats and compresses external air.
