PURPOSE: An information playing device is provided to calculate a distance between address marks by detecting reflective optical beam from the address mark column. CONSTITUTION: An information recording media(100) has an address mark. An address mark column(150) with address information is formed on the information recording media. An inquiry unit(116) generates a first and a second optical beam by laser light divergence. The inquiry unit inquires the first and the second optical beam from a different direction by the address mark column. An photo detector(117) outputs image information with the first and the second reflective optical beam from the address mark column. An operation unit(131) plays the address information.
