Methods for determining the negative control value for multi-analyte assays

The present invention provides a multi-analyte assay for determining a presence or absence of analytes in a sample, wherein the analytes are antibodies, and wherein said assay comprises the following steps:
(a) contacting a sample with a plurality of human or non-human leukocyte antigens as capture reagents;
(b) measuring the reaction of the sample with each capture reagent;
(c) determining the presence or absence of analytes in the sample using, as a negative control value, the lowest of the measured reactions or an average of low reactions; and
(d) comparing the results of the reaction with the capture reagents and the negative control value to determine the presence or absence of the analytes in the sample.
