<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection data DB associating every piece of inspection data with the measuring instrument that has measured it, and prevent wrong use of uncalibrated measuring instruments. <P>SOLUTION: An inspection data input terminal 1 reads measuring instrument identification information about the measuring instrument 4 from an IC tag 44 on the measuring instrument 4, reads inspection data on an inspection of a product 5 from a measuring part 41, and sends the inspection data and measuring instrument identification information to an inspection data management apparatus 2. The inspection data management apparatus 2 receives the inspection data and measuring instrument identification information and stores and associates them in the inspection data DB 22. The inspection data input terminal 1 refers to a calibrated measuring instrument DB 24 in the inspection data management apparatus 2 according to the measuring instrument identification information to acquire calibration validity information about the measuring instrument 4 and determine validity.
