The present invention has an obj ect to provide a portable terminal apparatus capable of quantitatively and easily confirming reception conditions of broadcast electromagnetic waves which are transmitted from broadcasting stations. A portable terminal apparatus 1 of the present invention corresponds to a portable terminal apparatus 1 capable of receiving broadcast, which is provided with a television broadcast receiving unit 7 for receiving a broadcast electromagnetic wave transmitted from a broadcasting station; an electric field strength detecting unit 12 for detecting an electric field strength of the electromagnetic wave; and a display unit 8 for displaying information. In the portable terminal apparatus 1, the electric field strength detecting unit 12 detects an electric field strength of the broadcast electromagnetic wave, and the display unit 8 displays the detected electric field strength of the broadcast electromagnetic wave. |
