The presented invention is about a method of constructing and using a system for active storage and management of software data (information and operational functional parameters), that facilitates other software applications to exhibit the capabilities of self-customizing their functional parameters, and making use of similar information. The proposed system consists of two units: . The software Data Active Storage and Management Unit, acting as an autonomous active storage system, which may be connected to the user computer system with any currently available interface and may be constructed with a combination of software and hardware that includes at least a data storage area, a microprocessor and the associated software that offers the exclusive services for the organization and the management of the data under a secured and controlled environment. . The Software Communication Unit, in the form of complementary software for the software applications that are going to make use of the first unit, in order to be able to communicate with it. The software Data Active Storage and Management System has the fundamental feature of managing the data by using the defining characteristics and the criteria that are related to their logical meaning, the purpose that these data serve and the application type that uses them. As a result, the system usage disengages the stored information and the functional operational parameters from the software that actually makes use of them, facilitating thus the transfer and the use of data, options and configuration, between different computer systems and applications. And the data management depends only on the applied classification criteria and not on the particular application or platform (combination of hardware software) where they are used. |
