PURPOSE: A brake gap adjusting device for construction equipment and an industry vehicle is provided to easily adjusting the gap between a friction material and a brake piston from the outside by rotating a backup plate to an exposed gear in order to be advanced the inner side. CONSTITUTION: A brake gap adjusting device for construction equipment and an industry vehicle comprises: friction plates(14) which are coupled to a drive shaft(10) with a spline(12); a disk plate(16) which is arranged between the friction plates; a brake piston(18) which is arranged in order to pressurize a disk plate(16a) in the most inner side; a backup plate(20) which is arranged with holding up a disk plate(16n) in the most outside side; a piston housing(24) which is located with surrounding the outer diameter part of the brake piston inside; and a bolt which is inserted and jointed from the inner wall surface of the brake piston to the inner wall surface of the piston housing.
