SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING TRAFFIC INFORMATION USING MULTI-FUNCTION SENSOR MODULE

PURPOSE: A traffic information collecting system is provided to collect traffic information which has reduced errors regardless of surrounding environment. CONSTITUTION: A sensor node(10) is composed of a multiple sensor module and a sensor communications module. A multiple sensor module comprises a terrestrial magnetic sensor recognizing a vehicle. The sensor communications module transmits the information detected through the multiple sensor module to a gateway(20). The gateway receives information which is transmitted from the sensor node through the sensor communications module. The received information through an integrated wireless communications module is transmitted to a main server(30). The main server processes the information received through a wireless communications module to the traffic information and displays the information on screen in real time.
