<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial information processing device that is featured in: improving noise resistance characteristics; easily verifying radiation noise test; achieving a space saving; and promptly developing only a custom-made expansion portion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The industrial information device includes a CPU base board 21 on which CPU is mounted and which is designed according to common device specifications and a custom board 22 designed by the custom-made expansion specifications outside of the common specifications. The device is so configured that: the CPU base board 21 and custom board 22 are adjacently disposed in a plane; the boards 21 and 22 are electrically connected by a connector 23; and transmission and reception of data between the boards 21 and 22 are carried out based on the predetermined interface specifications. This configuration eliminates circuit design surrounding the CPU for each customer by allowing the CPU base board 21 to be conformable to the common specifications and significantly reduces a time for design and verification as the device.
