<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in size and reduce a manufacturing cost, in a charging device for charging a battery pack which uses a plurality of power sources including a commercial power source as an input power source. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The charging device includes a transformer 10 equipped with two input windings 10a and 10b provided to correspond to connection terminals 4 and 5 of at least two input power sources 2 and 3, a charge output winding 10c which is electromagnetically coupled with the input windings 10a and 10b for outputting a charging power source voltage, and an auxiliary output winding 10d for outputting a power source voltage for an electric circuit. It also includes a first switching element 11 and a second switching element 12, which are connected electrically to the input windings 10a and 10b respectively, and a switching control circuit 13 for controlling the first or second switching elements 11 or 12 in common.
