<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle taking a safety measure to prevent the vehicle from moving due to a creep phenomenon of an automatic transmission vehicle and a slope even if a driver carelessly releases his/her foot from a foot brake in the opened state of a door. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a state that the vehicle 1 is stopped and the door 2 is opened, the transmission of a drive force by a power transmission device 9 is inhibited and a parking brake 8 is operated. When the door 2 is closed and the foot brake 5 is operated in the operated state of the parking brake 8, the parking brake 8 is released and the transmission of the drive force by the power transmission device 9 is permitted. When an opening/closing switch of the door 2 is opened in the moving state of the vehicle 1, the opening of the door 2 is inhibited, and when a stop is detected, the door 2 is opened on condition that the opening/closing switch is once closed and opened again.
