PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to reduce the number of necessary global transmit lines by decoding a test code in a decoding unit and transmitting a decoded result to a local transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A global transmit line transmits a test code. Decoding units(100_1~100_128) decodes the test code. The decoding unit generates the test mode signal. Internal function blocks(200_1~200_128) transmit the test mode signal to the local transmission line. The internal function block performs a test corresponding to a test operation.
