PURPOSE: An automatic vending device and an automatic vending method using age-cognition are provided to effectively sell products by automatically recognizing the age of a purchaser. CONSTITUTION: An automatic vending device using age-cognition comprises a camera(110), an age recognizing unit(120), and a controller(130). The camera obtains the image of a purchaser. The age recognizing unit recognizes the age of the purchaser using the obtained image. The controller determines whether a product can be sold or not by comparing the age with pre-set available age information.
