<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire drum-type window regulator which can overcome the drawback that a space in a vehicle interior becomes narrow due to an arrangement position of a wire driving device, which dispenses with the securement of a large vertical dimension of a guide rail, and which can easily secure an arrangement space of the wire driving device at a lower end of a door. <P>SOLUTION: A mounting base 11, the one end of which is fixed to a lower end of the guide rail 3 and the other end of which is elongated sideward from a lower end of the guide rail 3, is provided. A wire-direction changing member 6 is arranged at the one end of the mounting base 11 in such a manner as to face the lower end of the guide rail 3 while the wire driving device 7 is arranged at the other end of the mounting base 11. The wire-direction-changing member 6 is equipped with upper and lower direction-changing guide grooves 27 and 28 in the thickness direction, for respectively changing the moving directions of two wires 4a and 4b, which move along the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 3, toward a drum 9 arranged on the lateral side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
