<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display which is superior in moisture resistance and contributes to miniaturization of a display, and to provide a method of manufacturing the electrophoretic display. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A display element 120 being a display element using electrophoretic particles is bonded on a flexible circuit board 110 to form a display body 101. An electrophoretic display 100 being approximately rectangular in a plan view is included by a top surface protection film 131 covering a surface on the viewing side of the display element 120 and a bottom surface protection film 132 covering a surface on the rear side. A pixel electrode 114 comprising a metal and carbon paste, silver paste, or the like is formed on a front surface of the flexible circuit board 110, and a wiring electrode 113 is formed on a rear surface thereof. End parts of the top surface protection film 131 and the bottom surface protection film 132 are pressed to each other with an adhesive therebetween to temporarily form a sealing part 133 and then both the end parts pressed to each other in a short side direction are folded to the rear side.
