<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head having enhanced tactile feedback, augmented performance, and improved structural integrity. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head may include a strike face 102, a rear wall 132 behind the strike face, and a perimeter-weighting element 140 at least partially surrounding the rear wall. The club head may further include a preload spacer 150 associated with the rear wall and a resilient component 152 associated with the perimeter-weighting element.
