<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a room lamp for an automobile contributing to improvement of productivity and protecting a lock claw when engaging a housing to a reinforce. <P>SOLUTION: This mounting structure includes an outer housing 11 having a first locking part 11g, a ceiling 13 including an opening part 13a for a lamp, an inner housing 12 having a first locking opposite part 12g locked on the first locking part 11g and a second locking part 12n, and the reinforce 15 having a second locking opposite part 15h locked on the second locking part 12n. In the mounting structure, the first locking opposite part 12g is locked on the first locking part 11g via the opening part 13a for the lamp, the ceiling 13 is fixed between the outer housing 11 and the inner housing 12, and a bracket part 12b of the inner housing 12 is formed into a shape to follow a shape of an upper side of the ceiling 13.
