PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a device while demonstrating performance of the device. SOLUTION: When line pressure PL is input to an input port 52a for signal pressure, hydraulic pressure from a mechanical oil pump 42 accompanied by pressure adjustment by a linear solenoid SLC1 is supplied to a clutch C1 while hydraulic pressure from an electromagnetic pump 100 is supplied to a brake B2. When the line pressure PL is not input to the input port 52a for signal pressure, a switching valve 50 is formed so as to supply the hydraulic pressure from the electromagnetic pump 100 to the clutch C1. The clutch C1 can be engaged by the pump 42 thereby if shift operation to a position L is carried out while traveling, and the brake B2 can be engaged by the electromagnetic pump 100 to make engine brake act. During the automatic stop of the engine, the hydraulic pressure can be made to act on the clutch C1 by the electromagnetic pump 100.
