PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a windshield supporting structure capable of attaining an efficient absorption of shock while assuring a supporting rigidity of the windshield itself. SOLUTION: This windshield supporting structure is constituted such that a supporting member 50 for connecting a windshield 2 of a vehicle 1 with a vehicle body 5 to support the windshield 2 comprises a supporting part 60 for supporting the windshield 2 and a supporting part deformation promoting part 70 deformed when a load of predetermined value or more is inputted to the windshield 2 to abut against the supporting part 60 so as to promote deformation of the supporting part 60, thereby a peak value of reaction force acted against a collision body (m) is reduced.
