PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of image processing without increasing a circuit scale. SOLUTION: In an image data transfer section 15, an image conversion section 12, an image correction section 13, and a pixel number conversion section 14 are connected together directly and made to operate for image processing using no buffer. In this case, the number of lines calculated back from the number of output lines is determined as the number of input/output lines of each image processing section. In the image data transfer section 15, an NR section 16 and a distortion correction section 17 which use a buffer are interposed halfway among the image conversion section 12, image correction section 13, and pixel number conversion section 14 for image processing using the buffer. In this case, the number of lines of a prestage image processing section is determined according to the number of lines which can be processed by a poststage image processing section together at a time.
