PURPOSE: A paper money stopper of an automatic teller machine is provided to revise the inclination of the paper money which diagonally puts into by using the width groove formed in a fixing plate of back side wall of a temporary storage unit. CONSTITUTION: A fixing plate(210) is installed on both side of the back side wall of a temporary storage unit in lengthwise side by side. A width groove(220) is formed in the outer part of the either side fixing plate into the cross direction into intaglio. A tip-end unit of the progressing of the paper money putting into is inserted into the width groove. The width groove revises the inserted paper money to the horizontal state. A damper(230) is installed to be contiguous to the width groove. The damper prevents the slick of the paper money putting into. The damper alleviates the speed of the paper money putting into.
