PURPOSE: A novel flavonol derivative is provided to suppress hepatitis C virus RNA nucleic acid polymerase(HCV RdRp) and to use as a therapeutic agent for hepatitis C. CONSTITUTION: A novel flavonol derivative compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt has an effect of preventing or treating hepatitis C virus infection. A pharmaceutical composition contains flavonol derivative compound of pharmaceutically acceptable salt and carrier. The flavonol derivative domopund, pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, solvent, or hydrate is administered in 0.1 mg-1000 mg/day.
