<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for zig-zag-correcting line heads over various array patterns, and a technique for the zig-zag correction capable of coping with a plurality of subscanning resolutions. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing circuit 140 controls the line head arrayed nonlinearly with a plurality of light emitting elements. The image processing circuit 140 includes a plurality of memory areas 420, an acquisition means 410 for acquiring a raster data, a writing control means 450 for distributing sequentially the acquired raster data to the plurality of memory areas 420 to be stored, and a reading control means 440 for reading respective raster data from the plurality of memory areas 420, to be transmitted to the line head, and for controlling light emission of the light emitting elements, and the writing control means 450 determines an address on the memory area 420 storing each raster data, in response to the array pattern of the light emitting elements in the line head and the subscanning resolution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
