<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase latching force of latching pawls in a clip having the elastic latching pawls on a fixing part to be inserted in an attachment hole of an attached member. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing part 3 of the clip 1 comprises a box-shaped hollow block and has a rectangular or elliptic contour having a pair of opposed long sides L1, L2 and a pair of opposed short sides S1, S2 in a cross section. The latching pawls 15 of the fixing part 3 are formed to form parts of the long sides. One of the latching pawls is arranged in a diagonal direction to the other latching pawl in the cross section of the fixing part and the one latching pawl and the other latching pawl are connected to each other through an elastic latching pawl connection piece 19 in a central space 18 of the fixing part.
