PURPOSE: A heat pump system for cooling and heating air at a middle pressure is provided to increase the heat radiation of a condenser by compressing with a booster compressor the gas of a middle temperature and a middle pressure generated using a fresh tank in a low temperature area. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump system for cooling and heating air at a middle pressure comprise an outdoor heat exchanger(9), a plate type heat exchanger(3), a fresh tank(5), a middle-pressure booster compressor(11), and a low-pressure main compressor(1). The outdoor heat exchanger is changed to an evaporator in a heating mode to vaporize liquid refrigerant of low temperature and pressure and is changed to a condenser in a cooling mode to condense gas refrigerant of high temperature and pressure. The plate type heat exchanger is changed to the condenser in a heating mode to heat the water in a water tank to supply hot water and is changed to the evaporator in a cooling mode to supply cold water. The fresh tank generates vapor of middle temperature and pressure. The middle-pressure booster compressor sucks refrigerant vapor of middle temperature and pressure vaporized from the fresh tank and then supplies the sucked refrigerant vapor to the plate type heat exchanger. The low-pressure main compressor sucks gas of low temperature and pressure through a sucking pipe and then supplies the sucked gas to the plate type heat exchanger. |
