PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifying/drying device for a powder and granular material, and a method of dehumidifying and drying the powder and granular material, efficiently performing dehumidifying/drying processing of the powder and granular material stored in a drying hopper with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This dehumidifying/drying device 1 for the powder and granular material is provided with: supply lines 12, 13, 14 for supplying a gas heated by a heater 25 to the drying hopper 20; return lines 10, 11 for returning the gas exhausted from the drying hopper to a dehumidifier 30 side; an air blower 2 for distributing the gas of the supply lines and the return lines; a regeneration lines 16, 12 for heating and regenerating an adsorbent 32 by distributing a heating and regenerating gas heated by a heater 35 for regeneration to the adsorbent 32 of the dehumidifier by an air blower 4 for regeneration; a line switching means 40 connected with each of the lines; and a control section for controlling the line switching means.
