<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device for applying binding processing to a sheet bundle without deterioration of quality, and an image forming device with the sheet processing device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A side end restriction portion for restricting both side end positions of a sheet is constructed by a front-side matching plate 340 and a rear-side matching plate 341 movably arranged in a width direction to move to positions for restricting the side end positions of the sheet before performing the binding processing. When a stapler 132 movably arranged in the width direction to perform the binding processing at one or more positions of the sheet bundle whose both side end positions are restricted by the side end restriction portion performs the binding processing at the plurality of positions of the sheet bundle, an interval between the front-side matching plate 340 and the rear-side matching plate 341 in the width direction in the second binding processing and after is larger than an interval between the front-side matching plate 340 and the rear-side matching plate 341 in the width direction in the first binding processing.
